Welcome to the notebook
A quick note on what this site is, why it exists, and how I plan to use it.

This is the first entry in what I hope becomes a long, slow notebook.
Why a blog in 2026?
The honest answer: I want a place to think out loud that isn't a feed. Feeds reward heat — quick takes, fast loops, sharp edges. I want the opposite. A place to write a paragraph, sit with it for a day, and come back to fix the part that doesn't ring true.
What you'll find here
Mostly short essays. A few field reports from building software in small teams. Occasionally something half-finished — I'd rather publish a 70% idea than hoard it for a 95% version that never ships.
"Writing is thinking. To write well is to think clearly. That's why it's so hard." — David McCullough
How it's built
This site is intentionally small:
- Plain markdown files under
content/posts/. - Static export, hosted on Cloudflare Pages.
- No analytics, no popups, no JavaScript frameworks fighting for your CPU.
That's it. Thanks for reading.
